Lille has two train stations 400 meters apart and situated in the city centre (5 min walking distance from Lille Grand Palais):
• Lille Flandres Station: regional trains and direct TGV to Paris (58 min).
• Lille Europe Station: Eurostar and direct TGV to London (1hr20), Brussels (33 min), Lyon (2hr50), Strasbourg (3hr20), Marseille (4hr30), Bordeaux (5hr), etc.

By air
Lille-Lesquin international airport is located 10 km from the centre of Lille. Connecting to over 60 national and international destinations a shuttle service links the airport (at door A) to the city centre (bus stop “Liaison aéroport” outside the Euralille shopping centre). Journey time: 20 min.

Six motorways lead to Lille:

From the UK:
• Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais, then to Lille by the motorway A26.

Lille's comprehensive public transportation system, Transpole, provides the services below:
• 2 automatic metro lines (The world’s 1st automatic metro system, opened in 1983), 60 stations covering a 45 km area.
• 2 tramway lines serving over 35 stations, connecting Lille to Roubaix and Tourcoing.
