The group is organised into five sectors: management, operations, maintenance and infrastructure engineering, mainly railway (SNCF Infra), urban, sub-urban and regional daily passenger transportation, (SNCF Proximités), long distance and high speed rail passenger transportation (SNCF Voyages), transport and freight logistics (SNCF Geodis), management and development of railway stations (Gares & Connexions)
and Innovation Management & Research

1/ To be the French and world reference for expertise and operating system engineering.
2/ To be the key player in local public transport in France and to expand internationally
in this sector.
3/ To reinforce European leadership of French High Speed and its exportation.
4/ To strengthen our position as a world leader in transportation and multi-
mode logistics.
5/ To manage and develop train stations dynamically and harmoniously
in city-centres and multiple-modes.
